Q. Why do I need to set up an account? - I only want to post an event in the FREE listing section!!

Couchy Says: First of all - don't worry - it's just an operational account to help you manage your entries. It will be really helpful to you if you need to amend your entry or should you return to set up future events, because it will allow you to use existing entries as templates to create new ones.  It really is completely FREE, and will hold the minimum amount of information necessary for us to provide this facility:

Your name so we can address you politely when contacting you

Your email so we can help you if you forget how to log in, or to confirm continuance of an event

Your telephone number in case your email changes and you forget to tell us

Q. How do I delete my account? - I don't want to manage it any more!!

Couchy Says: You can delete your account any time you want. BUT you can't have events running without having an operational account.

If you want your event(s) to continue someone else will have to take over its management. Simply pass your log in details to someone else and have them amend the account email address and contact details.

If you don't want your event(s) to continue Just log in and click 'delete my account' on your control panel. If this is 'greyed out' you must have live event(s) still running, and will need to delete them first, or edit the end dates so that the event expires.
